Abstract

A 57-year-old patient, undergoing treatment with acenocoumarol, who attended the Emergency Department due to low back pain radiating to the left iliac fossa. The blood test revealed impaired renal function and a computed tomography scan showed an image suggestive of a left perirenal hematoma in the left kidney with signs of active bleeding.
