Laryngeal lipomas are benign, slow-growing tumors, but they can produce severe symptoms such as inspiratory dyspnea, sleep apnea, and dysphagia. We describe the clinical case of a patient with an extensive lipoma of the larynx and hypopharynx who consulted for dysphagia and intermittent inspiratory dyspnea, and who was successfully treated by a transoral approach with microscope and assisted with cautery and CO2 laser
