Abstract

For human life, values are as vital as oxygen and water since they make possible the recognition of others. Unlike animals, whose behavoir is perfectly guided by their instincts, Man when he is left to his most primal impulses becomes inexorably Wolf of others and even for himself, as it can see by analyzing the "Rota Fortunae" (The Fortune Wheel), an image from the German medieval manuscript which belongs to the Burana Codex
