Lung cancer screening: contributions from one meeting to the interdisciplinary discussion

Abstract

While primary prevention is the main strategy to reduce lung cancer, early detection by a complementary method capable of reducing mortality from this disease is increasingly of interest. If detection with Low-Dose Computed Tomography (TCBD) becomes routine, the risk for damage and identification of strategies for limiting it must be assess
