Abstract

As the population grows, there will be more cancer diagnoses in the elderly population. This group, due to its heterogeneity and comorbidities different from those of young adults, requires a specific and individualized assessment. The geriatric assessment and multidisciplinary work, together, would help in decision-making in order to prioritize the quality of life of each patient and optimize management of the vulnerable patients.
