Editorial de la revista número 1 del año 2015

Abstract

I am pleased to present a new volume of our Journal. Two new sections have been added to the usual content.

The section “Hospital Italiano in Medline” gathers reviews of original articles published in Medline, commented on by their authors. The aim of this section is to disseminate among physicians the scientific production of the Hospital Italiano published in international journals.

The other section, “Notes on Statistics and Research,” will include articles on statistical topics and research methodology aimed at the proper analysis of collected data.

Regarding aesthetics, the cover design has been modernized to a visually appealing format. The front will feature photographs submitted by professionals from the Hospital. The back cover photographs belong to the Hospital’s historical archive.

We are pleased to have Dr. León Daniel Matusevich on the Journal Committee, who enriches us with his editorial experience and innovative spirit. Unfortunately, we no longer have the physical presence of Dr. Carlos Fustiñana, who directed this Journal for a decade and continued to be part of the Editorial Committee, attending meetings until his final days.

I would like to thank my colleagues who contribute their articles, Mariana Rapoport, who coordinates the Journal’s edition, and the readers, who inspire our enthusiasm.
