Abstract

In this Editorial we bid farewell to Doctor Jose Alfie, who with his work and team ethic guaranteed the continuity of the publication throughout 8 years. We also present the new era of the Journal, in which we will try to receive and disseminate research and technological advances of the region for the improvement of people's health and the education of health professionals.
