Abstract

In the Letter to the Editor, Carolina Roni and Lic. Natalia Rosli describe the formation of a mentoring team for doctoral students in the Health Sciences PhD Program at the Instituto Universitario del Hospital Italiano.


The off-label use of medications, that is, prescribing a drug outside the conditions specified in the product label, may expose patients to potentially futile, costly, and harmful treatments, and physicians to possible litigation. Augusto Ferraris analyzes the factors related to the off-label prescription of rituximab, an immunomodulatory agent, over a six-year period.
