Abstract
Luis A. Boccalatte, from the General Surgery Service, reports on the experience conducted during the implementation of a primary health care program in indigenous communities of El Impenetrable, Chaco, developed by resident physicians.
Alberto Velázquez, from the Department of Family and Community Medicine, compared a series of interventions aimed at promoting physical activity among individuals attending the hospital.
Reinke’s edema is the accumulation of fluid in the outer layer of the vocal fold lamina propria. It produces dysphonia and, rarely, respiratory obstruction. Carlos S. Ruggeri, from the Otolaryngology Service, evaluated the surgical resolution of severe inspiratory dyspnea caused by bilateral Reinke’s edema of the vocal folds in four patients.
Amyloidosis is a systemic disease resulting from the deposition of misfolded proteins. Julieta Antonella Rocca, from the University Institute, reports the case of a 71-year-old patient who presented with neuralgia in the left upper limb, edema, exertional dyspnea, and macroglossia.

Daniel Berrocal, Chief of the Hemodynamics and Interventional Cardiology Service, addresses the question regarding the duration of dual antiplatelet therapy following coronary stenting and the management of potential complications such as bleeding or the need for surgery.
Ángel Golimstok, from the Memory and Behavior Disorders Section of the Neurology Service, updates advances in the early diagnosis and treatment of Lewy body disease.
María Luz Bollea Garlatti, from the Dermatology Service, reports a case of tungiasis, an ectoparasitosis caused by the penetration of the female flea Tunga penetrans into the skin.
